President Obama has nominated Merrick Garland to be the new Supreme Court justice. From what I can tell, he is a very middle of the road type judge, noting for liberals to get excited over. So now the question becomes, even with this middle of the road justice, will the Rs in the Senate not even consider him?

If they don’t, Ds have a legitimate argument that the problem with Washington not getting anything done is the Rs. If they don’t, they wasted all this time and credibility screaming that there will be no new justice on Obama’s watch.
