On June 23, 2011 the Hawaii Bankruptcy Bar Association (HBBA) will be presenting its consumer bankruptcy seminar. Traditionally, the HBBA present one seminar addressing consumer bankruptcy issues and one for business and/or chapter 11 bankruptcy.
I will be a presenter this year, along with debtor’s counsel Ed Magauran, and will be discussing how to treat car loans in chapter 7 bankruptcy. Other attorneys will be discussing the same issue form the creditors’ side. There will some other discussion about fix mortgages in side and outside of bankruptcy and a session with the ch7 trustees about how to make their life (and debtor’s counsel’s life) easier.
